Do you worry about not meeting someones expectations?

I dont see why you should worry, but do you? I certainly do.

i'm so consume in what others think it's ridiculous. this is my life story. the internet is the one place where i can be open and honest. i don't care about what others think. but, i've started to care for you. you're more than just a contact. now, i feel like i have another person to disappoint. maybe that's being a little over dramatic. but, sometimes it does get me. you haven't caused me to cut or drug myself up. i'm only responsible for this. but, i worry about what's going to happen if and/or when we meet in person. here i told my darkest secrets and there's a chance of rejection. that's my real fear.

If you are honest and not trying to be someone you're not, stop worrying. The only expectations that person can have of you are ones you give them. If you don't say you are more or different than what you are, you will be fine. Okay?

Yes, unfortunately deep deep deep down inside I do worry although I try not to show it. I don't really know why either... I think it's in our human nature to worry about not being good enough for others to truly like us.... You're right, we shouldn't have to worry...people SHOULDN'T have to be shallow and judge us, but most of society is shallow and so we do worry.

this is what i figure. if i don't live up to someone's expectations, they were probably expecting too much. but living up to my own expectations is something completely different.
