It makes perfectly good sense to me, MR. Conservative!

We know that gangbangers are going to carry guns, so let's make it easier on us all by issuing them guns that use less lethal bullets. These, kinder, gentler guns would still pack a punch, but won't kill you unless they penetrate a major artery, or manage to pierce your heart.

Isn't that a good idea?

Since illegals are going to drive anyway, let's change all the street signs to be bilingual. That would probably cut down on traffic accidents because they won't have to concentrate so hard on these unfamiliar words. For example, if you live on "Oak" street, the sign would also show "Roble" in Spanish. Think of this as a free opportunity for the rest of us to learn Spanish, practically for free!

Since kids are going to have sex, we should provide them free condoms. It's cheaper than paying for their out of wedlock babies. In fact, if we could just supply them with some X-rated videos, they could see the technique the pros use to have sex time after time without any unwanted pregnancies.

I truly hope that these initiatives will catch on. It will make it easier for a long-standing injustice to be remedies: the plight of the bored High School student. Kids all across the nation are being bored to tears in math and science classes. Since they're going to goof off anyway, we should issue them free, internet-connected, mobile phones with large displays so they can watch YouTube videos and SMS their posse.

I am pro choice for the same reason that I'm pro second amendment. I find the consequences of those positions less disgusting and scary than a government that would usurp those rights by force. While I find the prospect of destroying a fetus in the womb reprehensible, I would not want to live in a nation where a woman is forced to have a baby at the point of a gun. When it comes down to it, everyone has their own opinion on the value of a fetus at various stages of development. Some people believe that as soon as the gamete is formed there is a soul there too that needs protecting. Others believe that once a mother decides she doesn't want a baby that organism becomes a parasite feeding off her body. And, obviously, there is an entire spectrum in between. With such vastly dissenting opinions from anyone you meet, is it right to legislate one way or the other? What makes one opinion more valid than the next? I applaud your for applying rational thought to the issue. And I believe that you are correct. Making abortion completely illegal will only result in increased hanger sales. Kevin, why don't you ever choose a best answer? You always let it go into voting which is weak. Do you even read the answers you receive?

Maybe he should send them all to flight school also and or grant them CDL Class A drivers licenses so they cold drive 18 wheelers from southern Mexico all the way to Alaska on the planned no border super highway that neither the Democrats nor Republicans will admit is in the making.

Illegals can get an international driver's license in their own country.
At least if they are issued here, we can keep tabs on them. Wasn't that what the guest worker program was all about...national security??

if neither party is going to do anything about them, might as well give them a driver's license so they'll quit crashing into citizens without being insured!
