great question - you get a star.

this question needs to be asked over and over again in order to hopefully finally get some honest answers.

we are told that this fight is just like WWII.

we are told that this is the most deadly enemy we have ever faced.

how many troops will be needed in order to win this most important struggle of all time?

about 135,000.

it's simply preposterous!

Bush was never a "thinking man's" individual.

He preferred to look at invading Iraq as "cool" and attacking Iran as "mondo awesome".

But then what's going on with Pakistan?

That kinda put a cold kabosh on the whole mix.

Don't forget that he also didn't provide the necessary equipment either. Victory was not the goal. Still isn't. We aren't there to win anything but a strategic placement in the Middle East. To occupy Iraq for this. In that there has been success.

More of an issue is the troops being forced to fight a sterile war because if even one civilian gets a scratch, the left jumps up and down calling them Nazis and baby killers
