Okay, I know you solve for x, but that would leave me with log 3 (13) and I don't think that's correct. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

3^x = 13
x log 3 = log 13
x = log 13 / log 3

como seems pretty smart to me, then you just plug in the logs and find the values. Teachers might mark you wrong if you leave it in that form.

Wouldn't it be log13/log3? take the log of both sides, move the x to the outside of log3...
