For around $40 you can get a variety box of different sizes. I know Bed and Bath always has them, and Target often does when they have their "dorm" stuff around back to school time. I'm sure they must have some year round. You can also easily buy them online. They work really well, I put some things in my basement last winter, and they are still completely sealed and I opened one up last week and it puffed right back up, no smell of must, no water, nothing.

I know you can get them in the luggage dept. at walmart and target they are called space saver bags and they run about $8 for a mix of them or you can buy just one size also. I have used them before but just don't be too rough with them cuz they will rip pretty easily.

I couldn't find them at either Target or WalMart, I found them at Walgreens drug stores on the as seen on TV aisle. The price depends on the variety you buy. Mine had 3 large sized, 4 medium sized and 5 small bags and I think it was $14.99.

You can find them just about everywhere.. Bed Bath and Beyond have them and you can use a 20% coupon.. As well as Linen's and Things. Just don't overfill them because they will get heavy and not work properly.. Also, if you do break or rip one/them you can send it back for a new one. I have them and I really like them, although they do not work like on television.. They will let in air.. However, I have saved a lot of space using them... good luck

They don't work. I bought them, follwed the directions & 5 minutes later the bag filled up with air again. Our local news channel tested them here's the link to the video:

You will have to scroll down to the "space bag" & click on the link.

Yes, they do, and most of them leak, thus "uncompacting" the fabric, sometimes with disastrous results...

I've had similar results with the brand name bags, except mine just blew the lid off a plastic bin.
