Part of happiness comes from knowing that the work you do is important and appreciated by your community. Money is limited to what you can spent it on.
It might make you invest the money to start a business or get education for a job you like.
Also you could use it to travel and meet new friends if you live on an island or in some other isolated place.
Money probably will not make you happy if you only put it in the bank or buy toys with it.

That is the biggest crock of trash I have EVER heard!!!!!!!!!!!!
Money buys everything. Just think about this. I was almost on the verge of suicide because my girlfriend kicked me to the curb. HEARTLESS!!!! Fortunately I do have a bit of money. I finally went out and bought that 1968 Camaro that I have been wanting for quite some time. It made me happy. Also the fact that I have more money than my ex does makes me even happier. If I need a pick-me -up, I can always go out and buy something to make myself happy, even if it is a call girl. So NEVER believe that money doesn't buy happiness because it does my friend!!!

For the most obvious reasons, Happiness is something that has to come from with in, and you can't buy that. Money is something that can make your life more bearable and more comfortable, but it can not make you like yourself if you don't it can't make you a good person if you're not. Money can buy you the appearance of friends, but if you lose that money how many of them will still be there for you in bankruptcy court?? Real friendship, love and happiness can't be bought for any amount of money. You can tell that by how many people with money aren't really happy an who end up doing drugs becasue they are hiding from them selfs.

Money does not buy happiness. So then why do 6 billion people on earth wake up every morning to go to work or school? To become unhappy? Happiness is misunderstood. Happiness does not require money. It does however require trade. In order for a living organism to feel content, he or she must first perform a trade. Something as simple as breathing, you are trading nitrogen oxide to plants in order to receive oxygen and vice versa. This trade for happiness is done repeatedly until death.
Money is the most valuable tool for trade in the human society. This is why people quote that money is the necessity of life and it is power. Someone may trade a car for food, someone may trade time for fame, someone may trade his or her body for freedom, or someone may trade love for comfort. So where does money come in?
The majority of the people in this world trade things like cars, food, time, fame, body, freedom, love, comfort etc. to get money. You may agree to give your car, labor, or your body for food, but the person with that food may not necessarily want a car, your labor, or your body. That person may much rather have an extra pair of shoes. You may not have shoes. What do you do? You can give that person money and that person will accept. With money, that person can now purchase an extra pair of shoes. What if you didn’t have money? No food. Then what? Unsatisfactory.
The point here is that the loss or gain of a large amount of money super charges the risks of changing the entire life of a single soul or souls. Pennies and dollars are ignored because it changes the course of one’s life, however the change is so "microscopic" that it is easily bypassed and/or tamable. The loss or gain of $4,000, $400,000, or $4,000,000 is not limited to the circumstances that were just mentioned. There are thousands of unimaginable and unpredictable situations, bits and pieces, here and there that changes the course of ones life and would actually take a life time to explain. The majority of the earths population may not think as deep, some may even think deeper, but all people know subconsciously or not, whether they admit it or not, the first rule of “money matters”, is that it does, and that my friend.. is the reason why 6 billion people wake up every morning to go to work and school.
Conclusion:
Money does not buy happiness
Trade buys happiness
Most frequently used method of trade is..
Money-

There's a relationship between money (or "stuff" in general) and happiness, but it's not linear (i.e., twice as much money won't make you twice as happy). It's a complex relationship.
NOT having money can definitely make you miserable. If you're stressed about not having food and shelter, then money can definitely buy you some degree of happiness. At the other end of the scale, buying a Porsche, might make you happier. But buying TWO Porsches won't make you twice as happy as the first one.

Happiness isn't a tangible thing that someone can give you, so it's hard to exchange money for it. Not everyone's happiness is attached to the material things that money can buy, but many people will get (at least short-term) happiness out of buying things they want.

If money can't make you happy, give it to us and watch how happy it makes us, that in turn should make you very happy. But, really just think what money can do for you. If you're sick, really sick with cancer you can go to the finest dr. where poor people can't. You can eat steak whenever you want, poor people are lucky to get a Mc Donalds HB. Your car is probably new and if it breaks down you call and like magic, its towed and fixed. Poor people just stand on side of the road and cry. See the difference? Do you worry about elect. Bills or house payments on a daily bases? There my friend is the difference.
