I wouldn't work on Thanksgiving because it is an important time for my family. It's a great holiday for getting together, expressing how thankful you are for each other, eating great food, and of course planning shopping for the next day. We actually make almost a week out of it between baking before "the day" and shopping afterwards. It's my favorite holiday - I mean Christmas is great, but definately more stressful too!

Now I wouldn't because I'm married with a child and spend most of that week in the kitchen. When I was young and single I did. Plus usually places that are open on Thanksgiving have assigned shifts, so see if you could get a shift that would work with your family's dinner.

Sure, then I'd run to my parents' house for leftovers. Besides, depending on your job or where you work, it might be fun. People could bring in potluck dinner or lunch and desserts. Make it a fun day at work, and enjoy yourself.

Yes, I would but only in the morning. This way I could spend the evening with my family.
