Make sure she has breakfast before she goes to school, as well as a good night's sleep the night before ... schedule a bedtime. Children need consistency.
What is your household like? Are there problems at home? If a child's home life is chaotic, they have a hard time concentrating at school because they're worried about what's going on at home while they're not there or what's in store for them when they get home.
Have you had her assessed for ADD or ADHD? Or depression? Any of these conditions can cause memory and concentration problems.
Go over the lessons at home. Sometimes they don't grasp them the first time around, but after they've gone over them a time or two, they remember. They also realize that you feel their education is important.
Read to her ... even after children learn to read, they enjoy being read to, and it helps develop an interest in reading, which is one of the most important things they learn in life.
Don't give her any herbs or medicines without consulting a doctor. They've found that some herbs and excessive amounts of certain vitamins can cause health problems.
Also, children go through certain stages where they just don't "get it". She may do better next year in school simply because she's matured a little.

Eliminate sugary foods, chocolate, cola and anything with additives. She could try chamomile tea, which is excellent for children. Omega-3 supplements would also be good. Also, a regular bedtime and good sleep habits.
I actually home educate and i would HIGHLY recommend it, but i understand that work commitments may make this difficult for some parents and can see benefits of schooling. However, a lot of children in our group had school phobia or difficulty concentrating and their lives have improved beyond recognition as a result.

All 8 year olds have memory and concentration problems. They are CHILDREN!
Before I started looking to supplements, I would try exercise. The average American child is not getting anywhere near the physical activity that they should be. Kids need to get up and run around every hour or so, and it is unbelievable to me that the "experts" (teachers) are convincing so many parents to medicate them. BRING BACK GYM & RECESS!
We are creating fat, sheeplike zombies, when really all most kids need is a better diet and physical activity.
Cut out processed sugars and processed foods before you do anything else. Add exercise before and after school. Then if the problems persist look to a doctor to help with supplements.

My son has this problem, and we have found that his concentration, reading and memory have all improved dramatically after giving him a daily Omega 3/ multivitamin capsule.
It seemed to give him the jump start he needed, but it isn't a quick fix cure for every child with concentration problems in school. There may be an underlying learning difficulty or a cause of stress and anxiety that needs investigating as well...
Hope this helps and good luck.

Hemorrhoids, also known as piles are swollen veins around the anal opening or the anal canal. They can be painful and linger on for a long time causing distress. Fortunately, there are a number of home remedies that are as effective and provides fast relief https://tr.im/bnZYF
The main symptoms include bleeding during the bowel movement and itching. The first thing that people do to cure hemorrhoids is get an OTC medication, without knowing their possible side effects.

At 8 years a child is stll under playing stage.Memory development varies in children. It is too early to declare the child is having memory problem.See a child psychologist. As regards Omega please ascertain whether the child requires it from the doctor.Milk and vitamins(multivit) are good.As regards herbs ,Brahmi(goose berries) and its regular intake will increase memory power.

Definitely fish oils (Omega 3). Avoid fizzy drinks, especially those with orange colouring in. Check for things with lots of 'e' numbers generally.
