Just remember that the only way to know is a positive test, either home or blood.
Buy a multipack of tests (early predictor) take one the day after your period is due, one 3 days later and the next 5 days after that.
If the third comes back negative than you keep trying and if it comes back positive congratulations.
The key is to tell yourself that you are taking the first two just to get it over with and the third one is the one that will let you know for sure 9 days after you are due for your period.
All symptoms of early pregnancy are the same as your period, stress and a variety of other minor illnesses and the only way to know is that 3rd test.

Realize that there is no need to analyzes your symptoms. They usually have no validity. "Symptoms" are also the same way you can feel for a hundred other reasons- PMS, being sick, being stressed, being run down etc........
Most women do not have pregnancy symptoms until they are six weeks pregnant. Some women do feel symptoms as early as four weeks pregnant. But four weeks pregnant would be after your period is already late. Before your period was even suppose to show, there is very little pregnancy hormones in your body. That is why most people don't feel anything until much later.
All these "symptoms" people feel are just in their head because they want to be pregnant. You must realize that even if you do conceive on the day you ovulate, it takes the egg around a week and up to 10 days to implant. If the egg does not implant properly, then you do not become pregnant. Researchers feel that this happens 40-50% of the time.
Its best to just relax and after you ovulate, not even think about wether or not your pregnant. Wait until your period is late before thinking that you might be pregnant. You'll save your sanity.

It's too bad PMS and pregnancy symptoms are so similar. I can't tell you how many times I had every pregnancy symptom in the book (or so I thought) and I wasn't even pregnant. When I finally did get pregnant, I had no symptoms other than a missed period! Go figure.

It's because we are so much more aware of every twinge and sensation in our bodies. We're 'watching,' where as before ttc, we were just cruising along not paying attention. (((HUGS)))
