How to get rid of them? They are every ware. Bathroom, kitchen, and bedrooms where there are no food items. We clean and that helps but they come back.

You're gonna love this! My boss hates it when I give this advice to our customers (so I save it for the special ones) because it really does work!

Take juice glasses, pour about 1/2 inch of CIDER vinegar in each one, put 3-4 drops of lemon, apple, or lime dish soap in, place glasses around house. This will get rid of the fruit flies in a couple of days.
Now in addition to that you have to do the obvious which is find the source: even a small piece of potato that dropped between the cabinet and stove can be the source. So look around.

Well basically throw away ol' fruit you have laying round. Then put up a fly strip. Best bet would be to take like a banana or something nd wipe it on the strip so that the smell of the fruit is on it. It should get ride of them.
