best worst names on my list.
Is Nicholas ok with Alexandra, it sounds very Russian but I like both names a lot?

I think Alexander Nicholas sounds very nice!
Your list in this order I would say;
Cole (Colby or Coleson) Noah; I like Cole for a nickname
Connor James (could be CJ)
Caden James
Liam James
Nicholas James

I love:
Liam James the most, Caden James the least
but all of them are good.
I think you are right that naming your kids Nicholas and Alexandra might be too much... but if you really love those names then I say: who cares. Not many people will think of the Romanovs right away. Just don't name your third Anastasia! :) Besides, if you call Nicholas Cole for short and Alexandra Alex, no one will think it odd.

I like connor james - but swap it round so its James Conner, it sounds much better. Liam connor also sounds great!
Caden, cole or nicholas are worst!
James sounds good with alexandra, so does liam

If I were choosing one of your names I would go for Caden James . It's the cutest and they sound the best next to each other. Nicholas is too long a name to go with James which is shorter it kinda puts it off. If your still looking Nathan James is nice too. I hope your posotive it's a boy!:)
