I never had a teacher call my house and I was in a lot of trouble, I was even recommended for expulsion for being late to class 23 times. I wrote my own notes from my freshman year on and signed my mothers name and when the principal found out about it, she called my mother at work, my mom stuck up for me and basically told her, that if it took her 4 years to figure it out, what is the big deal now! I got away with a lot of stuff. I was suspended in 7th grade for cigarettes in my coat pocket in my locker. The list goes on....

I called the school and set up an appointment with the consular, Principal and teacher.
Turned out it was a teacher that liked to get his girl students in trouble---there was no more problems.
I learned that it is always best to give your children the benefit of doubt.

When I was in high school I used to skip school all the time. My teachers would always try to call my house and talk to my dad, but he never answered the phone because it was always for me. I would just tell them he wasn't there and ask to take a message. Then they tried sending letters home, but I checked the mail too. I was very sneaky!!!!

I went to a Catholic grade school and some of the Nuns had gone to school with my Mother.

So it was almost a daily occurrence for the Nuns to call the house because one of us had done something awful in school.

One of my calls was because the Nun told me to hurry and put my books away.....and I told her she could just wait until I was finished.....big mistake....LOL

Forged my mother's signature on tests I had failed so I had to get signed. This was in the 4th or 5th grade. I do not have any talent for forgery.
