Wealth is, according to John Adams, the ability to command labor. Those who possess wealth have the power to direct others (through payment) to do their bidding. In the general sense, the chief advantage is therefore power. The chief disadvantage is responsibility, as people depend on your to effeciently dispense money.

Advantages:
Ability to do whatever the imagination desires.
Ability to go wherever the imagination would take you.
Ability to make life more fun for others.
Disadvantages:
If you are not also smart, hardworking and healthy, being wealthy is a complete bummer.
Lack of creativity and/or imagination means that all the money won't buy you an interesting life. The resulting ennui causes depression and listlessness.
People will 'hang on' to use you for your money; you have to be careful and cunning or you can even end up in a dangerous situation.
Money must also be invested and nurtured, or it depletes and goes away. This takes a considerable amount of time and attention. You must also guard against fraud more carefully.
For all the above, many extremely wealthy people in the US lead a middle-class life. It suits their tendencies and abilities, and they are not required to 'dress up' for charity galas, draw attention to themselves in fancy cars or homes, or suffer the other drawbacks of a high-profile, rich person life.
One of the best pioneers of this kind of lifestyle was Ben Franklin, who basically lived the same way throughout his life even though he became fantastically wealthy from his printing business.

The main advantage is peace of mind. You don't have to worry about having enough money to pay your electric bill, gas bill, water bill, put gas in your car and food in your belly. You can go to the doctor when you are sick without worrying about being able to afford it. The disadvantage would be paying more in taxes. I don't know of any other disadvantages. Sorry.

If you don't have money then you carve for it
and when you have a lot of it then you are paying lot of taxes too and you feel others are living on your tax money.
Both the kind have their advantages and disadvantages but the ones in the middle (middle-class) always suffer in almost all the countries of the world.

Advantages: No worries, its easier to live life to the fullest, you can be generous and donate to worthy causes.
Disadvantages: Nothing to wish for or aspire to because everything is handed to you. You can't work for anything because there is nothing to work for. You can turn into a brat and not donate any money.
