Good question, deserves a star.
I guess the biggest difference in my online personality compared to my actual personality....is the fact that I am very patient on yahoo. I dont blow up and scream and curse even when someone pushes me too far. In real life I do have a problem with dealing with ignorant people.

I wont say anything or do anything different on line than I would in my personal life. I am who I am, take it or leave it I'm 100% real.I wont lie about the way I look which could use some improvment, not bad.I wont lie about what I do for employment which at this time I am currently unemployed. I am taking a look at my options for college. I have some unresolved issues that I am currently working hard to change through therapy.I'm just me in my life and here on line. I have nothing to hide.

I am actually a much nicer person here.
I feel handicapped by being unable to see expressions, hear tones of voice, etc. And, though I have gotten to know a couple of people here very well, and have a great deal of affection for them, for the most part I try to keep in mind that I don't REALLY know anyone. I give the benefit of the doubt here a LOT more than in "real" life.
Oh. I am speaking here of PEOPLE, not trolls. The REAL me is more than evident when I deal with trolls... }:>

I think, as most people claim, that in the main we are the same as we are in real life, but maybe a bit more forward, assertive and blunt. Whereas in real life we don't like getting punched in the throat and so try not offend others, we are afforded a level of anonymity where we can lay bare our feelings and call a spade a spade. That's me I'm afraid. A cyber hero and real-life coward

A king on line as well as in real life, I wouldn't behave myself any differently except I do get amused with some of these questions, and I like that..

Online--more blunt, opinionated, talkative to a fault. ^_^ But I do try on occasion to back that up with links and such... Also, I get to actually be flirty, romantic and a little deviant. **blushes**
Offline--way more lonely, shy and quiet to a fault. It isn't cowardice as much as it is...I'm reserved when I am by myself. When I am with friends (doesn't happen much lately) I do open up a lot, but my official attitude when alone is "keep smiling, keep quiet, keep moving", which is good if you don't want to be a target or a victim.
And rather sucky when it comes to the social life.
Otherwise, I try to keep things the same, as much as possible. I'm cerebral in both worlds, a bit eccentric in both worlds, and *deliberately* do my best to practice honesty as policy....even when it ill suits me. -_-
Hope this helps. ^_^

The anonymity allows me express myself more freely. I say some things just to play the devil's advocate around here.
The Prince by the way is still very much around.

In real life, I don't speak up or want to be a part of conversations. I don't mean to be rude, I just get anti-social sometimes.
Here- I can talk all day...uhh I mean type ;)

I usually say things online just to get a rise out of people, because I found it enjoyable. Oh, and picture? Actually is me. It was my halloween costume.
