YES!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I met in San Diego, fifteen years ago, through a mutual friend. The moment I saw him it was like Electricity!! Our eyes met, we smiled at each other, shook hands and felt an instant connection! He wondered if I felt the same way. Did I ever!!!
Both of us were VERY cautious, because we both had just ended long-term relationships within the prior year.
We met in August '92, became friends, went to many concerts and friends parties. Then, our first official "date" was November 13th, 1992. "Friday the 13th:)"
We have been together ever since!
We have two amazing children, a Son and a Daughter. We still Love each other more every day!
I think it is Extremely important to WAIT and learn about each other before jumping into a relationship and ultimately...........the sack! That will instantly ruin any chance of a longterm, trusting, LOVING relationship!
and Yes.The Sex gets better and better each year, like fine wine!!
Most importantly.............. use your Instincts!
Your Soul Mate is out there!
P.S. Stay away from the "players"..........Guys with Red-Convertables (Extenders), Strong Cologne, and especially guys who look in the mirror more than you do!!
Good Luck:) Be patient! You'll find each other!

the attractiveness of a person catches the attention in the first sight, but personality and understanding are what that will maintain the relationship. in other words, love is a long term commitment. it takes time to build a long lasting relationship.
the "love-struck" that people talk about is just temporary
affection. of course love does happen at first sight but extremely rare.

I think we all encounter people we seem to have an instant connection with from time to time. It has made many people drop their existing relationship to run to this person's side. The fact is that due to genetic drives, we will from time to time feel drawn to other potential partners but the feeling is fleeting, so don't do anything drastic. The feeling will touch you mysteriously now and then. If you and they are available, something else may develop, but the initial reaction is not unique, just rare and does not garantee long-term success for the relationship - that will depend on other factors.

No I do not. I think that people need time to get to know one and other before deciding that they 'love' each other.
Love at first sight is merely physical attraction, how else would you claim to love or even like someone from a distance without knowing how they act, their personality, etc.

Yes but it also can be very scrary. So don't go with that - get to know the person as a friend 1 year or 2 years. Don't drop over the intense feelings you have....

I believe in true lust and crush at first sight....but I do think people know very quickly after they meet someone if they will grow to love them or not.
