yes it had happened to me. i think sometimes when we put the weight increase was not distributed evenly to all parts of our body. when people look at us, they may see some parts are relatively smaller than the others ( not in proportionate ), that's why they tell we have grown thinner. the same happens when we lose weight but the weight lost is not shown by our face and we look chubbier when compare to our body and people will say we have put on weight.

OMG don't even get me started! looooool I was visiting my parents a while ago, and my mom asked me did you lose weight? I told her yes, I lost 6 kg recently. She said well, you still have a lot more to lose! No comment! :P
