For a potential sequel, Kid Nation 2, candidates are required to submit a written application and a three-minute video. Semi-finalists would then travel at their own expense to one of 10 regional interviews, with finalists flown to Los Angeles for the final selection.

If you can type, you're probably TOO OLD... lol....
Probably needed 1) a connection to the Producers, 2) live near them.. or, 3) be among the Kids (after sifting through a pile of headshots) that didn't AT ALL look exactly like the Kids that they already had from #1 and #2.
