Those movies are greatly exaggerated, but they give you the basic idea of what its like. Most cheerleaders are byotchy and date the jocks, the nerds dress really badly (movies exaggerate), and the losers (nobody cares about where they go or what they do).

That is too broad and fanciful a movie to be real. That's all movie cliche. Some movie comedy writer's or producer's or director's idea of what they saw as they went through high school.

In movies like that, sometimes things are exaggerated. But that tends to be the way things are -- it's not always as extreme as that though. Kids tend to form groups (cliques) though: the "dorks", popular people, athletic people, etc. Sometimes they intermingle, sometimes they don't. It depends.

Not where I grew up. I mean, we had groups, but it wasn't like on on TV dramas and Teen Movies... It would have been so interesting if they did, though...
