I mean, we all know male teachers are more likely to do something like this, but don't females have more sexual control? Why the hell do these women throw everything away to be with boys who are just beginning puberty?

I mean, women control who they have sex with. Why can't they go to a community college and find an 18 year old that looks like a rock star?

Loneliness, desperation, lack of maturity/control, curiosity,stupidity, over-sexed condition,liberal family environment/upbringing, etc. Fortunately there are not many of such persons who make such bad choices that society frowns upon. There have been extreme cases of 50-75 yr old females marrying 20+yr old males and 80+yr old males marrying 30 yr old females both in Western and other societies. Even for these cases, love can be said to be 'blind'.Human nature, logic and common sense are indeed very strange and often unexplanable!

There is a huge assumption that women have more control over this kind of thing ... and with some that may be true, but certainly not all. However, the number of reported female pedophiles is far far less than the number of male ones.
Its just the female ones get more press - mostly because they are rarer.
Ultimately, I think it is the same driving force for either gender.
Women might also get there by extending the concept of nuturing to unhealthy ends or perhaps trying to use young adoration as a way of holding up a sagging sense of self esteem.

women have the same urges that men do, regardless male or female it's sick!! I am going to school now to become a teacher and all the hard work that I am doing there is no way I would throw it all away to have sex with a boy! UGH people are sick now a days! I guess maybe it's a self esteem issue?! Go find a man already!

They're usually avid fans of stupid movies like highschool musical 1 and highschool musical 2; The return of the musical. and the soon to be announced highschool musical 3: the return of the return of the college/highschool dropouts/ musical. or maybe they just like watching the movie Grease and they think the kid is like john trevuelta. or maybe.... THEY'RE PEDOPHILES!!!! and they ike having power/control over a younger person.
