What do u do if ur boss gives u an excellent review but a very shitty raise?

i would ask to speak with him a week or two later.
thank him for meeting with you and then say that you would like to discuss your review....and since your review was so good and you have and will continue to improve your work performance, you feel like you deserve a raise and would like him to consider that.
i have worked for bosses who only gave raises to those who asked despite good reviews.

I was promised a raise after 6 months and a second raise after a year......I've been with the company nearly a year and still no raise.....needless to say, I've been looking for employment elsewhere. At least if I'd had a bad review, I wouldn't expect a raise, but I've had a glowing review and still no raise.....and I'm fully aware that the company made 72 million dollars in profit last year, so it's not because the company is failing and can't afford one...
