After the pats win over the colts, there is a small chance that the pats could go all the way this year without a single loss. But after thinking about it, would it be wise for Bill to win every single game? In the pats 3-outta-4 SB run, Bill always used the 'underdog' angle with his players and is known to strongly discourage players talking smack. He has used snide remarks from Freddie Mitchell from the eagles, and Vanderjagt ('ripe for the picking') and Marcus Pollard ('the league should just give us the rings') and used those remarks as motivation for the pats wins against those teams. If he lets the pats go undefeated, he is risking his star players by letting them play in games that mean nothing near the end of the season. In addition, the pats are going to be under a lot of pressure than usual to win their playoff games, because every1 knows that an undefeated season means nothing without a ring. Who thinks bill will go for undefeated, or use his head and rest his players?

"The Colts gave a game plan on how to beat them"

yeah, pay off the refs and channel crowd noise through the speakers. I am talking about teams who could beat the pats legititmately

I don't think his ego would allow for that scenario. I believe he would love to be mentioned along with Don Shula as the only coaches whose teams had perfect records.

I don't even think its an issue. The Pats aren't likely to go undefeated. The Colts gave a game plan on how to beat them, and had the game in their hands. 1 or more of these teams will beat the Pats; Ravens, Steelers, Giants. Pressuring defenses that don't can stop the deep passing will stop the Pats, they just need to be effective on offense and put points up of their own which the Colts did not do enough of.

He will rest his players, now he's 2.5 games above the Colts to clinch home advantage. If the the Colts lose another one, they clinch home field advantage with a 13-0

If he's 15-0, he will definitely rest their players against the Giants who should be playing for a bye round then.

The definitely lost some presence between the the tackles without Sammy Morris.

I think he will get them to 16-0 but, finish 17-1 after the rested and healthy Colts team take them out.

They probably will, but I don't think Belichick will run up the score. Once his team has a 30 pt lead in the 4th he should bring in his subs

he has no class and also no concern for the safety of his players so he will do whatever he has to, to go undefeated...
