There are Christians and non-Christians in both parties. I support stances that frown on immorality, not because the of what the Bible preaches, but because those issues often infringe upon the rights of others and/or do nothing to better our society and culture. I support common moral decency. I think Christians and non-Christains alike can all respect that.

I believe members of both parties have Christians. However, the leaders of the more conservative party would stand by morality more. But that is just my opinion and that of what I have read, and seen historically.
No, you cannot legislate morality. A good leader should promote it by living a life of high moral standards.

I think that depends upon how you view Christianity. While the right-wing fanatics who run some Churches have claimed Christianity for themselves and thus support the Republicans, I know many good Christians who think those people are crazy and feel that their views are better represented by the Democrats.

Depends.....
if you view the government enforcing Christian dogma via laws, as supporting christian values, Republican is your party.

If you view supporting Christian values as promoting freedom of religion of all religions, and setting the example rather than persecution as your savior did, Democrat is your party.

The republicans have always supported christian values. I would say that they are the better at it.

You can't legislate stupidity either, but that doesn't stop the government from trying.

The Republicans "support" "Christian values" (whatever they are)...

They just don't live by them.
