HI!!!! 6x+6y = -2 & y = -x
equation becomes ---- 6x +6(-x) = -2
6x + -6x = -2
x - 6x = -2/6
x-x = -17/3.

6x+6y=-2
y=-x
6x+6(-x) = -2
0 = -2
This is impossible so the system is inconsistent and has no solution.

6x+6y=-2
3x + 3y = -1 ----------------- (1)

y = -x ---------------(2)

Substitute the value of y from eq(2) in eq(1)
3x - 3x = -2
0 = -2

The equations are unsolveable

solve for y you'll get the line in the form y=mx+b

this is a line and the point (6,-6) is not on that line.

just cause you wrote it doesn't mean its true.
