Does anyone know the pathfinder website where I can get a topographical image of Gusev crater?
Also I understand that the crater might have been filled with water but I cant see anythin interestin in the pix I see...can anyone explain some characteristics that Im missin when i look at the pix>?

The source is the Mars rover website. Pathfinder was another, earlier mission that you are confusing with the present rovers.

The rover at Gusev crater is Spirit, not Pathfinder. Jim Bell's book "Postcards from Mars" gives excellent descriptions of the two rover landing sites and subsequent exploration.
