Maybe they(Patriots) are'nt what all the "WHINERS!" thought they were!!
Maybe they FINALLY ran into a TEAM that was up to the task!!
I don't "bet",I only "pick". I'd say these two are, more than likely going to be in the AFC Championship game. Un-fortunately, it NOW seems to be held in Foxboro,MA.
I was routing for the Colts, and was very "pleased" with the way the game went (aside from "losing"). To ME it means the Colts will have to beat the Patriots on their own field, in front of their own fans!!!
Now THAT would be a "STATEMENT!!!" GO COLTS!!!!!!!

Because the Colts gave the Patriots a reality check that they aren't as above every team as they thought they were. The Colts were still one botched play from winning the game. So, the Pats weren't going to let that happen.

I'm glad they didn't. I won a pile of money on the spread and the under. To answer your question. Why would they care? I'll bet some on the team don't even know the spread. It doesn't concern them.

Because they don't want to provide even further motivation for Indy to come back and kick their butts in the playoffs. They can afford to run up the score on other teams (esp. NFC teams) because a) they don't fear them and b) they don't play them as often, and wouldn't have to worry about revenge motivation.

they will take the chance against a terrible Dolphin team, or any other team they have played so far...take a chance like that against a team that is equal, and anything can happen...they finally won with class, but in the end were forced to

They did not want to risk the possibility of getting the kick blocked since the game was so close.

Um, I'm hard pressed to make fun of you here. Because I agree with the last part of your posting.....Go Lions!
I assume you are joking, gambling/speads and class aren't really 2 things that go together.
