In some cases yes, and it's great when you come across some kid with a problem that you've been through. I might be fooling myself but I believe there are genuine chances to help other people through this medium.
Being a person with wildy conflicting convictions, I enjoy being able to express that freely, it's ok to be a hypocrite on here! I think it's made me realise what a contradiction I am and maybe laugh at myself.
Talking about laughing, that's another thing I love on here, you get to act the fool some of the time and have a laugh.
Then there is the educational aspect, I'm a person who is constantly learning anyway, and this medium is nectar for the taking in that respect. I am a jack of many trades, but only a master of one, still it's great to paddle in old familiar puddles and see how the splash goes...
Answers is better than crosswords at keeping the old dementia away !!! There are some people on here that I have come to respect.. a bonus.

It causes a great deal of self examination. You want to make sure you answer corretly, so it's also a learning process. Sometimes I have to do research before I can give an answer. Most of my answers are based on scripture, so they have to be accurate.

Answers come through values we hold and our answers definitely show our inner self. We are constantly examining ourselves when answering or reading other peoples answers.
