Everything related to TIME !
The concept of time makes you to feel faster or slower.
But imagine that there is nothing like -TIME
Everything is happening at this moment.

OK, well it's been said "time is relevant" think about this go back in time before there were TVs and radios and phones what did people do in the middle of winter when they were snowed in w/nothing to do, OK besides that, they sat around the fire and talked about the past their orientation was to the past. It's what they did after the evening meal, when all the chores where done, on holidays, etc. they told stories about the past so all our thoughts were directed there. today it's all about what's going to happen in the next 5 minutes, what's for supper, what am i wearing to work tomorrow, what am i going to do this weekend all our attention is focused on the future so my opinion is this even if the world isn't going faster and faster we are perceiving it as and therefore since time is relevant we actually are going faster and faster.

It seems like it is going at a different pace. I don't know If it is the world going faster or just me getting older and fining hard to keep up at times. It could be a little of both. Thank you for asking I thought I was the only one that felt this way.

feels that way

Thinks it is because the only way we can put a measure on time is by how much we’ve been through. So that same day goes by faster in relation to all the days we’ve lived.

Well, to put it into perspective, people are trying to cram in more things into their days due to all the new technology and all of the activities available to us. We eat fast foods or things that can be made in a microwave on the way out the door to take the kids to some activity. We work longer hours with more stress. There are more people and more cars on the road so we're always rushing, looking to be on time and please everyone. In the past, things weren't as crowded and people were able to do their thing with less stress.

I agree and people want more and more forgetting to take time for thinking. We (and I include myself in the lot of course) fill our lives with useless gadgets and loose the perspective on what is important. We are all for negotium forgetting that for being true to our nature we need time for otium. But we have to find a balance between this dichotomy otherwise our civilization and we as human beings will not progress.
