The problem with the greyhound is the length of time....i only have from around 9.30 until 5pm and the greyhound takes too long.
Are there no airport shuttles people know of that go directly from the airports? it's to catch another flight i land in Charlotte at 9.35 and need to be ready for a flight at asheville at 16.55 that evening

taxi would be very expensive, around $200.

Why not take city bus to greyhound station(601 W TRADE ST
Charlotte, NC 28202), then $29.75, you can get to asheville if you don't want to rental car.

Update: 1.Check greyhound.com to see if you can catch it or not, 2. otherwise, rent a one-way car to drive,
3. another idea: post in craigslist.com chalotte region to see if you can share the ride and pay them gas fees.
4. Sure there are some passangers go to asheville, wait in rental car counter, and beg them and show your ticket, maybe they will help you out.
5. It seems no shuttle from CLT to Asheville. You can check out in airport again and negotiate the price with cab driver.
