ok just thought about this, i know im not the first one to think of it.. but just maybe consider it and tell me if its sorta reasonable or something..
when you die you go into a dream.. just like the ones you have at night except much longer (forever)
if you lived your life right, and had good memories.. the dream you have will be pleasent (like heaven, you could say)
if you had a bad life and did all the wrong things.. your afterlife would be a nightmare (like hell) doomed forever in your worst nightmare of memories and so on..
just a "what if" what do you think

I believe that after life is possible, its all in your Karma. You are right about right life and bad life influence your next. You are current life is the result of your past. In Vedas its said the their are more than 2 million forms of life which you can reincarnate and the worst is the life of the plant. Which has no freedom to express its pain, fear or happiness. .... i think i am putting lot of philosophy here lol ... do contact me and i can suggest you good articles on this topic

Of course, there afterlife either in heaven or in hell(see Luke chapter 16). Man is a tripartite person made up of spirit, soul and body. The body is mortal that is, it dies and decay thereafter while the spirit, the real person neither dies but is accountable for how one has lived on earth before death. For a soul/spirit regenerated on earth by repentance and conversion from sin, it dies once or is raptured at Jesus second coming while the unrepented dies first physically and secondly at Bema(Revelations 20) to be damned eternally in hell. It therefore pays to be saved and become born again now(John 3:3,7; 1:12; 2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans10:17etc).

What if you lived a 'good' life, but it turns out to be a nightmare for you because you spent your life pleasing everyone else, so the dream is just a bunch of needy people begging for you to help them with their problems which never stop, no matter how many you fix?

When you die our life here on earth is what is going to seem like the dreaam. When you die it is the begining. You will either go to heaven or hell if you accepted Jesus into your heart. And plus God is going to destroy this earth and make a new earth in the future...its a long story......read the BIBLE

no-one knows for sure, but I'm thinking that we are living in hell now. and when we pass all worries and fears are gone and with the similarities of the dreams i believe you would live like a dream till the end of time .
