Circumventing Internet access control systems with web proxies to access unauthorized web sites is a violation of school computer usage policy. You will get suspended and/or banned from using school computers when you get caught. Use school computers for school work, and myspace can wait until you get home. Do you really want your teachers and school administrators knowing what you are posting on myspace anyways?

I'm sure that not all proxy sites are blocked, that would be VERY difficult. But all the ones that the school finds out about they will have blocked.
What you need to do is look around for a new one that works and don't tell anyone else about it so the teachers don't find out!

If you know how to write any HTML, you might be able to get around that with iframes, depending on your browser and some other factors. Just put the site you're trying to access as the src of the iframe, then the remote server will be fetching it and not your local computer.

As much as you may not to hear this, myspace has to wait until you get home from school. Getting around filtering systems violates school computer usage policy which means you can get suspended or banned from using school computers when you get caught. Use school computers for school work. Getting assignments done at school means getting more time at home to enjoy Myspace.

Three options:
Best one is go to www.peacefire.org and sign up for their mailing list. They'll send you a new web proxy site every week or so, faster than they can generally block 'em.
Second best is set up your own. They've got instructions on peacefire, it's not really that difficult.
Worst option (very slow) is use mine. I've got them disguised as google. For non-SSL sites go to 6oogle.computersforpeace.net or 600613.computersforpeace.net, and for ssl it's SSL6oogle.computersforpeace.net and SSL600613.computersforpeace.net
Oh, and for all you saying the school blocks those sites for a reason...filtering software is quite possibly the worst software ever made. For good examples, check out this list:
http://www.peacefire.org/censorware/WebSENSE/
Sites are mis-categorized either because the program just guesses based on one or two words on the page or even for purely political reasons. Time magazine once wrote an article critical of one of the brands of filter software, so the company started blocking Time's website.

Sorry, but I think the school has a right to block access to those sites both to prevent the spread of computer viruses & worms and for student safety.
If you want access, use a home computer and wait til after school.

Do what you're supposed to do at school: study. Then when you're at home you can enjoy those sites for hours on end. This way, you'll not only waste your life on myspace, you can get your diploma at the same time!
