If I make a collage from printed images with it for a christmas card, will the ink run? will the pictures preserve well?

Decoupage glue is not good for things printed from an inkjet printer (it smears). Other printed things are ok.

The pictures should preserve pretty well, but if they don't (and i'm being serious about this) take whoever makes decoupage glue to court and sue them for making a horrible glue that they guaranteed would work.

Decoupage glue is meant to be used over and under your cards. As long as all the edges lie flat, they will decoupage just fine.

My daughter, family artist, has used decoupage glue to decorate toyboxes, dressers, posters and bookcases. Nothing seems to run or smear, the glue dries clear, and it seems to work really well. Test it with your application (Cards) and odds are pretty good that you'll like the results.

Good Luck!

as long as the glue acid free it shouldn't ruin your pics. if u go to a scrapbooking department or store there should be glues that are better suited for card making.
