My basement is very cold because of gaps in the cement wall surrounding the door. The cold air seeps through the gaps in the cement and I'd like to seal it off. Any ideas?

You can buy a can of expandofoam and spray it in the cracks. This suff comes out like a thick liquid but grows bigger to fill cracks. Pay attention to what type you buy though. There are different types. Some expand more than others. It depends on how big your cracks are on what type to use.

Best bet might be the expanding spray foam. The advantage of this stuff is that it expands to fill any crack completely. Most likely you will use too much, which will cause it to expand right out of the gap like big round globs. These can be trimmed off neatly after about 24 hours with a sharp knife and the crack will be tightly sealed.

Just be careful because this stuff is extremely sticky and almost impossible to get off.

To seal the partitions you should use a product called Block Filler, that's presented in white, gray or sparkling. it is going to help end maximum moister from coming in, yet once you comprehend water it unearths a manner, frequently by way of a crack some the place. whilst that occurs seal the crack with a ideal product for the textile your partitions are made out of(i do no longer comprehend what you have for partitions). As for the floor, except you have a sturdy volume of floor water coming up exterior your storage, i do no longer think of you're able to complication. in case you do chosen to seal the floor, etch it first with Muratic acid and upward thrust properly. Be pronounced that regardless of product you chosen to place down on the floor, be it an epoxy or a concrete stain, once you pull your autos in the tires are approximately 4 hundred stages from driving, so maximum products will fail the place you end your autos. i've got accomplished many storage flooring and that i continuously recommend having the tires relax on some sort of carpet so as they cool they do no longer pull up the floor coating.

The expandable foam will probably work here. You could also use hydraulic cement. If you use the foam, be sure to wear the plastic gloves. It is almost impossible to get off your hands.
