Yes! They really should have been together. Severus should have learned how to open up to Lily more and maybe things could've worked out for them. Instead, he made some stupid choices. But hey, we all do.

No. Snape was still a miserable person and would have been anyway.
I don't think anyone could seriously think Snape would not have become a Death Eater if Lilly didn't want him to be. Do you think he would have been any less snide, or bullying if Lilly had married him.
We got no evidence that Lilly felt anything other than friendship for Snape--it was only love on Snape's side.

Yeah, I do. I think that if Snape hadn't been so entranced by the Dark Arts when he was a teenager, they would have gotten married.
I think that if Snape as a teenager had acted like he had as an adult, they would be happily married. Personally--don't get me wrong, I love James--I really wish Lily had married Snape. He was so selfless and caring and brave...I just wish that his ending could have been happier.

I think that Lilly and Snape could have been good together if Snape hadn't been diverted by the Slytherins.
However, I also think that Lilly and James are perfect together and, while Snape and Lilly would've had a lovely time, James would always end up with Lilly.

I think they could have been good together. Snape was good at heart and just got mixed up in a bad crowd. If he had been sorted into a different house things may have turned out very differently.

Snape loved her, always. If he had not been into the dark arts, they probably would have gotten together. But then harry would never have been born and we would never have heard of them.
