I know this is hard but try to relax! Find a hobby that will get your mind of of it! I read, & like to take my sone out for a walk in his stroler, & another thing that really helps is going to the gym! It's a great thing for some ME time!
good luck!

You need to know when you are ovulating. Nowadays, it's become alot easier to pinpoint the exact timing. Just to name a few methods:

1) Ovulation predictor kits
2) Fertility monitor
3) Ovulite - saliva test (great if you have unpredictable cycles)
4) Temperature charting
5) Online Ovulation help

To read more about all these different methods go to http://parenting.ivillage.com/ttc/ttcsigns/0,,7sr3tp6d,00.html

(I'm pregnant with my second child and both times I've used the online ovulation calendars and it took me both times less than 4 months! But the key is you have to know when you cycle.)

Good luck.

I am going to give you my standard answer.......go get a book called "taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschler. It will help you truly understand your body and cycle and erase all the myths that women believe about their bodies.I believed all the ovulation & conception myths that are floating around here until we tried for a year with no luck. My doctor recommended the book and it worked the very next month! It turned out my timing was wrong and that I don't ovulate in the middle of my cycle like most women.
I'll be 40 in Nov....and I am due to have my 4th in March!

Start Charting. Read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It will teach you how to chart your cycle using info like Basal Body Temperature, Cervical Mucus, etc. Keep track of your cycle at www.fertilityfriend.com which has free online calendars you can use.

I have long cycles, like 38 days, so I only ovulate around day 22 or 23. If I didn't chart, I wouldn't have known that, and I wouldn't have been able to time "it" properly.

Hope that helps and good luck to you!!

Regards,
mari
