I miss who I thought he was, but that person never existed. He was a lying, cheating narcissist who had no remorse for who or how much he hurt people, including his only child.
Most of the time, we are blinded by infatuation or sexual attraction, and are vulnerable to the advances of con artists. Because we are honest and open, we believe that the object of our affection is like us, but they are predators. Next time, we'll be smarter. If he or she seems to good to be true...Run....there's no such thing.

I do sometimes. We were really good friends, we had just grown apart in our relationship. So, we stayed friends, until I started dating my current man. Now we don't talk.
