Adrian Peterson without a doubt. Not only is Peterson a rookie and Brady a veteran but look at what AP has done for the Vikings. This past weekend his numbers were unbelievable and he definitely is not a fluke because he does not have the best line and the Vikings have no passing game to supplement his work on the ground. Besides those facts he is rushing hard and well every game. I wish i had him on my fantasy football teams. I cannot even trade LT for him right now the way he is playing.

Basically here are the key differences why AP deserves the award over Brady:

- AP is making outstanding numbers as a rookie.

- Brady has everything you need to be able to throw that many touchdowns. (Line that gives him forever to throw, weapons like Moss - Welker - Stallworth - Watson, a decent RB that will force the defense to respect the run at times leaving the pass game open, and one of the greatest coaches in the game.

- AP may be the new LT. I wish that AP would go to another team that has a decent line and at least a little passing game because he would totally blow everybody away.

- Stick both of these players on terrible teams and AP will be more productive.

Adrian Peterson has been the key to any success that the Vikings have had, and I don't think there is anyone who has carried his team any more.

To put some things into perspective, Peterson averages more yards rushing per game than Vince Young averages PASSING per game! Phenomenal season so far, and if he can cure his fumbling problem, he would be the best back around.

That being said, it is difficult to give the MVP to a guy whose team simply is not very good. The MVP would go to Randy Moss before it went to Adrian Peterson. Moss nearly is as important to NE's offense as Brady is. Did you notice that Brady tries to throw to him 9/10 of the times? And Moss gets the ball, DESPITE double coverage? Ridiculous!

Adriean Peterson all the way, he is setting records almost every game, he has put new life back into the vikings. Sunday the vikes looked like the days of old with Cunningham as quarter, Malard, Noga, the good ole days. Adrian peterson has made watching the Vikes a pleasure again, not a crying fest!!!

Peterson is a quality RB and more than likely the Rookie of the Year ......... BUT ......... he'll never get the league MVP for 2 main reasons ...1) He is a rookie and several veteran players are also having career years, and 2) He is playing on a team, the Vikings, that will not see a winning record or a playoff spot this year.

We have to wait until the end of the season. Isn't Peterson a rookie ? Is there a rookie of the year in the NFL ?

Peterson can run like Walter Payton or Gayle Sayres. He will have a fabulous career if he can stay healthy.

Yes, but you can't exclude Brady. Like it or not he's the best in the game right now. The MVP is for a player that actually helped their team go somewhere. The Vikings aren't going anywhere, sorry.

Can't "exclude" anyone's numbers. Tom Brady is the best player in the NFL now, and deserves the MVP.

Peterson will, however, win the Rookie of the Year award without a doubt. There is no other offensive rookie that is performing like he is.

I wouldn't give Brady the sweat off of my balls. If he and Belidick were drowning then I would throw them an anchor. Now Peterson is a class act and deserves the MVP.
