We don't like our neighbours on one side and don't pretend we do. Just ignore them. The last time I spoke to him, I told him that "I have no intention of carrying on a conversation with an ill-mannered, finger-wagging paranoic; and until such time as you learn a few manners that is how the situation is will remain" Must be 20 years ago - still haven't spoken to him!
In a work situation or maybe social situation, I try to stay neutral as far as outside appearances go. You have to work with these people, anyway, so remain politely distant.

Same answer:
That depends on who it is. If it's your boss, then you just grin and bare it for the sake of keeping your job, but at the same time, keep an open mind for another job. If it's the annoying neighbor that brings her dog to your yard and never picks up the mess, then it's time to tell them about it. If it's someone that you just have a vendetta against, then I'm sure they will know without you telling them anything. It will show in your actions.
Oops! (as you pretend to trip and spill coffee all over this person.) I guess ACCIDENTS can happen.

Well this isnt gonna be easy but here goes,You dont have to tell anyone anything, just do not be around that person or persons.if you do not like them y be around someone that you have to fake or pretend. But on the other hand you never said y you dont like this person or persons,or if it was on a professional or a personal level? Just be yourself at all cost because then people will look at you being the fake one, hope this has helped you out somewhat

by sake of appearences do you mean so you wont hurt their feelings? if so, then i think it would hurt the person more if you played like you did like them, because in the end when you finnally need to drop them, and they find out that you were pretending all along, they would probably be hurt even more. maybe even mad. you should never pretend in cases like this.

I think its better to be open and honest. But for the sake of others usually I grin and bear it. But I don't grin too hard if ya know what I mean.
Good luck!

I don't like to hurt peoples feeling so I just try my best to limit my communication with the person. The more I stay away the less likely they are to creep me out or annoy me.

There's no need to pretend. Be yourself and let them be themselves. There are no rules to dictate who is to be liked or not. Just because they don't suit your choice doesn't mean they don't suit someone else's. Just live and let live. You'll be fine.

If I don't like them, I try not to be around them. I won't be outright rude to them but I won't be outright nice to them either. Mama always says that if you don't have something nice to say then say nothing at all. Sometimes you just gotta say something for your own happiness.
