i want to know if mixing a 1 to 30 ratio in a bottle then mix another 1 to 30 ratio in a seperate bottle. then mix the contents together into one bottle. Would the ratio still be 1 to 30 or would it change to a 2 to 60 ratio?

a ratio is the relationship between two things, its not necessarily numbers
*i.e. = 1a:2b = 2a:4b = 6a:12b
they are all equal, a ratio of 1:30 Equals 2:60 Equals 3:90 = .5:15 = .25:7.5
and the ratio will never end, they are all the same

1:30 = 2:60
both are correct
if you want you can say its a 100:3000 ratio and still would be the same

ratios are always simplified to reach this form (1:X)
this way its easy to understand and use.

hope that helped :)

It would still remain at 1 to 30 ratio, because 2 to 60 or 3 to 90 or 4 to 120 if reduced to lowest terms will always be 1 to 30 ratio.

The ratio would be 2:60.
However, ratios, like fractions, can be simplified.
2:60 is the SAME as 1:30

2/60=1/30

Divide 2 in half
Divide 60 in half
