So my white sweatshirt got black sharpie marker stain on it as someone who used the dryer before me forgot to check their pockets and the sharpie leaked, and got onto my sweatshirt.
Do you know any way to get it out?
I tried "shout gel" and that had some effects but it is still visible. its about a 1"x1" mark and Im going to try bleach soon, but do you have any other ideas?

thanks.

bleach is your last bet because once you have washed the clothing most stains will never then come out, but be carefull with bleach and only wash that one item, then the cycle after that one item either run it with no clothes or only with whites because sometimes the bleach stays for a cycle or two after being used,

Try Hydrogen Peroxide and then scrubbing with a damp towel.

Try hairspray. It works really good at getting ink out. But if your shirt has been dried, it might not do the trick. Doesn't hurt to try!
