What works the best on getting bathtub clean i use scrubbing bubbles it take most of the dirt and scum off but not all what can i get to work on the rest of the stains
Iwould like to add that its only one tub that has this problem we have two baths in our home but only one is hard to clean we have city water not well water also the tub that does come clean is my childrens bath tub its mine and my husbands that will not come clean could it be because i tend to take more baths then my children because they prefer to shower not bath like me who enjoys a bath over a shower

I know this sounds crazy but try WD40 to take the rest of the stains off. Spray WD40 on a cleaning towel after you use the scrubbing bubbles wipe it dry with the WD40 on the cleaning towel. WD40 is a good water repellent. I do this in my own home. http://www.wd40.com/
Also when you get done taking a bath if you rinse the tub down with cold water and wipe it dry you would not have water or soap scum build up. It could be your city water that is causing the problem. If you do not have a water softener the hard water could be causing the build up.

I have an old porcelin tub... I use automatic dishwashing detergent and a magic eraser.. About once a month.. It works like a charm... Just take a sponge and put a thin layer of detergent on the tub and let it sit... Rinse with hot water.. I will sometimes give a swipe of a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser in tough places... Then I use a bit of turtle wax to keep it dirt free for a few weeks... The dirt just washes away.... Good luck

Well what kind of stains left are there? Rust stains?
You can try Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, they may work. Or if it doesnt I would try some CLR or lime away... not the bathroom and kitchen cleaner CLR either, the concenrate. Also another really good cleaner I use is called Mean Green. You can get it at the dollar general or walmart and it is GREAT! Good luck.

tub baths can take 30 or greater gallons of water, looking on how severe the water point. Showers use 5-8 gallons of water in line with minute. So, in case you're taking an prolonged bathe, you will use the comparable quantity of water as in case you had taken a shower. in case you hold the showers short, you will preserve water. I choose having a shower, then I do a speedy bathe rinse for my hair. (i'm consistently curious precisely how grimy people are while they communicate approximately sitting of their very own dirt interior the tub!) keeping water and being sparkling are the two substantial and the two could be executed.

I know this may sound cheesy or like an ad but I use to dread cleaning the bathtub (read: my back use to whimper at the sight of a tub that needed cleaning) but I tried that "magic eraser" thing and some "vim" on it and it works surprisingly well.

I have found commet works wonders on tough stains. I recently seen an advertisement for a spray commet. Might give that a consideration.

Somebody told me once to use powdered dishwasher detergent. It really works! Give it a try and good luck. Once it is clean, then use a daily shower mist to keep it clean.
