NO! STOP! DO NOT! First off do not pay for anti virus. Get AVAST and download it and run it. It is FREE and it does just as good as or better job than one you pay for. Then make absolutely SURE there is ZERO traces of a virus or other mal ware on that computer before you even think of using it for e commerce. The only way to be sure is to do a complete reinstall of your windows system. Then stay on top of anti virus anti spy ware and get a good firewall.

I would not do any on-line commerce with a malware infected computer. Of course YMMV.
In the meantime why not clean-up you computer with some free on-line scans?
Run both of these on-line scans. Both are free and excellent at detecting and removing malware free of charge. There is no need to un-install any of your current protections (if you have any) before using these.
1. Scan for virus, worms, dialers, etc. and remove (free online scan, no downloaded program) with BitDefender's Online Scanner
http://www.bitdefender.com/
2. Scan for trojans, adware, cookies, and spyware and remove (free online scan, no downloaded program) with Ewido Online Scanner ( now known as AVG Anti-Spyware). This is NOT the same as AVG Anti-Virus.
http://www.ewido.net/en/
These scans will take quite a bit of time. The time is necessary to clean-up an infected computer.
Good luck.

EDIT:
Do NOT download and install any more anti-virus programs unless you completely un-install any current anti-virus program.
The use of 2 anti-virus programs at the same time can cause major conflicts. The 2 scanning engines will fight each other to scan every file that you read, write or execute which can cause a slowdown. For the same reason, using 2 A-Vs can cause you to have less protection from the various malware, not more.
A much better solution, right now when your computer is apparently infected, is the use of on-line scanners.

No, you can no longer trust your machine.
Consider this an excellent time to recognize that
your operating system is defective. I recommend replacing
it with one of:
http://fedora.redhat.com
http://www.centos.org
http://www.opensuse.org
http://www.debian.org
http://www.ubuntu.org
http://www.slackware.org
http://www.freebsd.org
http://www.opensolaris.org
Any of these will be more reliable, less susceptible to
viri, uses your hardware more efficiently, and they're
all free.
