Chances are no you won't be able to file for unemployment benefits in a different state. Each employer pays to their respective states Unemployment agency. It may be possible to get unemployment from the state you are moving from, but the new state will not be able to help you. Tyr contact your current states unemployment agency, inform them you plan on moving to try and find work, but would like to collect unemployment from your previous employer while searching, as long as residencey hasn't changed, you should be able to collect. Providing of course you qualify for the benefits in the first place.

Probably, as long as you are available for and looking for work. You'd apply in the new state, and they'd contact your old state to check your eligibility. The actual payments would probably come from the old state, but the new state would handle the initial paperwork.

Yes- you will need to file for umemployment in the state in which you worked or where the company is located. Once you move, you will need to provide them with your new address.
This is very common around state borders. Many live in NJ, but work in NYC. They can file in either state for umemployment (either the one where the company is located or in the state where they live).
Just make sure you file first before you move.

No. Unemployement is individually run by each state. Once you move out of state, you're not eligible for it, as presumbably you won't be looking for work in your old state.

Just have them cut your check to your new address. Apply in your state where you are eligible using your address there then after a couple of weeks change the address to your new location.
