Distance makes the heart grow fonder...partially, I suppose, because we take in its wholeness and are able to see how all is connected (the entire tapestry, so to speak). The close-up view brings us to the thread in that tapestry, perhaps a view that is less admired, even though that thread is part of the whole, helping to bind it. Neither is complete without the other: the tapestry needs the thread to come into being; the thread needs the tapestry to fulfill its potential and purpose. I am Sirius

I am going to use a phrase that I would usually criticise, hee hee hee in a close up view you only see a small part that `makes up a bigger picture` and you onl;y become more aware of the bigger picture and how it all fits to gether when you take a more distant view. The thing is though that the bigger picture is only part of an even bigger picture, which is also part of a bigger ppicture and I don`t think that we will ever be aware of what the final picture will look like in this life anyway. It`s all about being subjective and objective, but how far do you go? Too distant a view means you lose touch with the fine detail and too much fine detail may distort the bigger picture!:)

Close or distant, I think this depends on the person "viewing."
For example, within a family, a person may not even observe the uniqueness of the others, or, choose not to be involved. No distant "view" will motivate them to see differently.
The same is true of communities, & nations.
I'm using the negative, as it seems many individuals & groups are so locked into themselves, & believe "their" way is the only way, & it's the "right" way.
In a world where we have access to so much understanding of history & cultures, etc., this is unfortunate.
One's closest "circle" of environment is but a microcosm of the world.
Our personal view makes the difference.

Any view whether close up or distant has to be the same ,how can there be views of the same world different when seen from afar or near ,e.g. only difference would be if there is a tornado in florida and you are in india you would not be hurt like the persons in the path of the tornado in florida and you would be only seeing the view from your televison screen safe in your comfortable house while the other resident of florida cannot see anything except the dust and fear of everything getting destroyed right in front of his/her eyes .

With close up view of the world you are seeing different societies through what they believe and their traditions and customs. if you look at the world at a distance you usually base what you see on the way your society works instead of finding out how theirs works. I think that every one should have a chance to walk in another cultures shoes for one day so they can accept the differences.

The distant view shall be beautiful and very good as well as enchanting. But when you close, it shall start showing all ugliness, and shall bring much disappointments.
isnt this true of almost everything?

In close up view you are entangled into it and in distant view you just witness things happening and don't get entangled.

A close-up view would determine how you look at things, it probally would be more realistic.
