Both. But action is more important than words. Any one can say "I love you" or anything else to try to get their pants off them. It's a lot more difficult to do the things that prove that you really love someone.

You do not need words or actions to say I love you because you just know that there is a chemistry there between two people. You just have to look at each other and you know immediately how you feel.Love is not always about words it is mainly about honesty and trust.

Depends on who you want to love and how THEY define a show of love. Some people need to hear it, others need to see it, and still others need a good combination of both.

Personally, on a romantic and friendship level, I like both. I'm a woman of words and value communication; however, public and private displays of love reinforce my certainty of his/her love and dedication to me.

But--to get really philosophical--I think the ultimate show of love is just allowing the other person to be who they are without negative judgment, forgiving their nature that contradicts my own sensibilities, and refraining from manipulating their behavior to appease my own insecurities.

BOTH! Words are great to hear but anyone can say I love you and turn around and never let you feel it..IF someone is always doing great things for you and never tells you they love you ,,It doesn't feel like you are special and sometimes you think that is just the way they are and they are that way with all people..I NEED BOTH!
