Sure...this Patriots team is not nearly the running beast of the past. Boston in January...whoever comes in better be able to run the ball (and the Colts can). I wouldn't make the Colts a lock to go in there...San Diego is getting better and they can run the ball probably the best in the AFC.

Doubt it. They cant pump artificial crowd noise into the stadium at Foxboro. Seriously, an indoor team coming into very cold Foxboro is at major disadvantage. Patriots play their best in the cold, where they practice all the time and the Colts are more of a speed team than a physical team. A team like Pittsburg would have a better chance but Pittsburg not good enough, especially on the road. Pittsburg has looked terrible on the road all seaon, losing to two teams with losing records. Barring injury I wouldn't imagine any team will win in Foxboro come January.

Sure, it could happen. I think the Pats would win because they're very tough to beat in December / January home games, but anything is possible. The Colts still have a very potent offense and their defense is better than last year's. The 2007 Colts may even be better than the 2006 Superbowl winning Colts.

yes it will be a playoff game, and that game was close before, sure it would be in Foxboro most likely the Patriots are smart enough to know that it will be a tough game.

I think they could but I'm not sure if they would win.

You all do relize that last year the COLTS did win last year against the patriots in the Snow so even though the pats got a few lucky plays last night i doubt they will win again harrison will be healthy and manning will have all his weopons fyi

I don't think they'd win, but it's definitely possible. I know the Pats won yesterday, but I think the Colts showed that the difference between the two teams is pretty minimal.

Still, I'd go with the Patriots in the cold weather because Manning's success has come in the dome. He hasn't proven yet that he can beat the Pats on the road in cold weather. But, it should be a great game!

why not? the game last nite was a few key plays from a colts win. a few key plays in january might go there way. they might be healthy and pats might be injured (belichick left his starters in after they had clinched the home field advantage and they got hurt). and i almost choked when someone mentioned the chargers getting better. adrian peterson just ripped you for almost 300 yards.....

Do you really think the Colts, a dome team, can come into freezing New England and win, when they cant even win on their home turf? Please, pats will win no problemo.

Hold your horses. There are still a good number of games to be played here.

Let's not count our chickens before they hatch shall we.
