This month is sweeps? right? I will just be sick if they do not finish the GH Ball story line. I think that soaps are a few weeks a head of schedule so we might not evan see a disturbance in our favorites soaps right? What do you think about it.

I do agree getting off my butt will be great maybe this will be a new begining for a major life style change. How many people will keep it up or just go back to the same old thing like watching GH or their favorite soap.

We wouldn't see a stop for a little while because they tape 3 weeks in advance and the ball storyline should wrap up Nov 16. I hope they can work this out, I need my GH!!!!!

I remember the last strike. It was bad. The shows kept going, but it was as if some alien came in and took the form of the actors. It was so odd to see them doing or saying things that was not the "norm" for them. They had to do some major "fixing" when the strike was over to correct all the things that the non-writers wrote into the shows.
I hope they come to an agreement very soon so the effects are not as harsh this go-around. I wont stop watching, but if it gets bad, I wont watch as faithfully as I do now.

I'm not too worried about the Writer's Guild strike. I'm actually looking forward to not being obligated to sit for an hour each day and catch up on GH. Don't get me wrong, I've been a faithful viewer since the day I was born, (and even before I was born, according to my mother) but it would be nice to have an extra hour a day to get stuff done for however long the strike lasts.

Not at all. The GH writers manage to both suck and blow on a regular basis; maybe some time off will lead to an improvement.

No I'am not worried about it , we'll just have to deal with it .
I guess they want some of the pofits too with all this on line going on and everyrthing else . Everyone I guess wants a piece of the action . I'm sure it will work out .

I'm not worried as it just means i can priorities my time with something sensible instead of religiously setting up for a certain soap.

i think it will help the community as everyone would be going out more and socialising rather than turning into miserable old men and women with 10 cats.
