(8) I should have known better. After all (9) Penny Lane must have told me a thousand times "If you see a (2) blackbird, (1) run for you life." But of course, I never listened. (10) Do you want to know a secret? Penny always thought I heeded her warnings, but in fact I never listened to a thing she said except "(7) Hello, Goodbye, and don't touch me."
Anyway, I should have run when I saw that blackbird, it was the most vicious bird I have ever seen. As I left the theater during the credits that day, it, it swooped into the air and dove at me using its very sharp beak to peck at my head and arms and legs and other vital organs. (4) I am happy just to dance with you now because I thought I was a goner that day. (5) Here comes the sun, rising on a day that for a while I thought I might never see.
You can be sure the next time I go to see "The Birds," I will wait until they are all off the screen before trying to leave and will heed Penny's words if I ever see one again.

I should have known better that day I took a walk down Penny Lane. A Blackbird sang Here comes the sun and asked me 'Do you want to know a secret?' I said 'I'm happy just to dance with you.' A decision I will always regret. :(

I was walking down PENNY LANE when i met my little friend the BLACKBIRD. ''RUN FOR YOUR LIFE'' she said. ''Your horrible ex borfriend is comming around the corner''. But i was too late, I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER, as he always comes this way at sunrise, and HERE COMES THE SUN now. ''DO YOU WANT TO KNOW A SECRET'' he called. ''HELLO......GOODBYE'' was my reply as i turned and walked away. ''wait'' he called ''IM HAPPY JUST TO DANCE WITH YOU''. So we danced a little. ''WE CAN WORK IT OUT'' he whispered into my ear. ''NOT A SECOND TIME'' was my reply, you hurt me too much for me to ever trust you again. And with that i slowly walked away, never to see him again....

I love the Beatles...
"Run for you life" shouted Ringo. "Here comes the sun!"
"I should have known better...", panted John as he ran "...than to become a vampire"
"We can work it out, just keep running until we get to Penny Lane!" gasped George.
"Do you want to know a secret?" Said Paul.
"Can't it wait?" Shouted the others....
"I want you to know, that I'm just happy to dance with you..."
THE END

Do you want to know a secret? Promise not to tell any other person and cross your heart? Hmmm...Well, I know where a body is buried around Penny Lane!
I should have known better than to go digging when I saw the dog digging up the garden in Mrs Morgan's house. She had travelled for the summer and had asked me to keep an eye on the property, even giving me a key to the premises. I observed the dog slink in through the bars of the closed gate. Before you could say Jack Robinson or Hello Goodbye it had run down the path to the garden and started digging furiously. The dog belonged to Mr. Morgan who had run away with some younger woman two weeks ago leaving a note behind. He said he was no longer interested in his marriage and Mrs. Morgan could do as she wished with their property. The dog had also run away from the house since his elopement. I drove the dog away from where it had dug quite a deep hole damaging a recent flower bed planted by Mrs Morgan. I had offered to assist her in laying the bed but she had refused wanting to do it herself.
But not a second time. The next time I saw the dog I decided to let it dig to its heart's content. But when it got to certain point the dog started howling like mad and running around in circles. I went to the spot and saw what looked like a tattered shirt around the hole the dog had made. That's when I decided to get a shovel.
"Here comes the sun," I thought to myself ruefully. And just when I started digging. The task was made more difficult with the scorching sun and sweat ran into my eyes as I dug. The dog continued dancing in circles around the spot.
"I'm happy just to dance with you too, Jack" I said. He howled as if in pain and tried to jump into the hole with me.
"I think we can work it out, Jack" I said "You stand outside and keep the debris from falling inside the hole while I dig." I suggested. The dog seemed to understand me and began using the paws to keep aside the debris and sand from falling back in.
Just as my shovel struck a heavy and hard object a blackbird up in a nearby tree squawked in fright or protest and flew away. It seemed to call out, 'Run for your life' as it took flight. The silence that descended after that felt ominious. I kept aside the shovel to avoid any damage to the object I had hit and used my hands to pull out it out. I shrieked in fright when I realised that I was pulling a human hand!
Jack started barking wildly and howling like crazy. It was Mr Morgan's hand. He had been shot in the head and buried in the garden. He had not run away with a younger woman. If not for my peculiar nasal medical condition I am sure I would have smelled the stench from the already decomposing body.
