This poem was about a child (I think male) who witnessed his mother having some free expression of herself - in the moonlight as I recall. I so long to have the words to this poem. The only line I recall (I think) is "I do not mind."

I read this about 50 years ago so I can only remember the feeling of the poem, which touched me greatly and left me wondering about what it is to be a woman, wife, mother and still have one's own identity. Now I know but would so love to have that poem!

Try to recall and provide a little more detail

Remember
. . . . a poem is an emotional-intellectual-physical construct that is meant to touch the heart of the reader, that it is meant to be re reexperienced by the reader. I believe that a poem is a window that hangs between two or more human beings who otherwise live in darkened rooms. I also believe that a poem is a noise and that noise is shaped.

good luck
