Would you hug a stranger?

If the person sitting beside you on the bus, or at the cinema, or a stranger in the street, told you he/she was sad and just needed a hug, would you give it to him/her?

If it's a woman, yes, because I am a deeply empathic, understanding man with absolutely no ulterior motives at all and it wouldn't occur to me that it might lead to spontaneous and memorable sex.

If it's a bloke he can go take a running jump because he needs to get a grip and stop being such a brainless wimp, and I'm not in to that whole male-bonding/homsexual thing...

I will be willing to use comfort words but a definitely not a hug .That stranger might sneak a gum on my hair while i attempt to hug him/her as best as i can as a sneaky plan of being evil. lol x x
