I have had a VERY unprofessional and unpleasant experience with a well known Life Insurance company. I had State Insurance Administration intervene the situation and re-instate my policy.

This whole process put me through a lot of hassle. All the Life insurance Company is saying that "It was an administrative mistake and we have re-instated your policy." Having gone through the agony, I don't thing just "sorry" is enough.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Thank you all for your answer...each one of the answer has a point...

I do understand your thought process. Believe me; I am not looking for any 'monitory" benefit. But I do expect them to sincerely accept their mistake, which is still missing in their response.

I will most probably go with another company.

Their attitude is "We did a good deed by re-instating your policy".

Even though the June, 2007 premium was withdrawn from my bank, three months after that (Sep. 2007) they informed me that the premium was not received and terminated my policy.

If the State has intervened, you are probably left with either continueing with this company or going elsewhere.
